Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
There is so much Grace
To say yes to you my Lord in every season, with a heart of joy because you are worthy. There is an abundance of grace to lay down my life and rejoice when my flesh is crucified because your light shines forth in a life laid down. There is grace to begin again every single morning, to behold your beauty, to awake to your wonder in awe and reverence amazed at the fact that the possessor of heaven and earth lives, and breathes life in me through his word. There is so much Grace to embrace your Lordship and to reject the pride of life. I am only just beginning this endless journey filled with so much gratitude that the most High God has bestowed his unmerited favour upon me through Christ Jesus.
There is an abundance of grace to boast about my weakness because indeed his strength is made perfect in my weakness. There is so much grace to speak boldly about the goodness and the steadfast love of my father. In every season , he has met me at my point of need with reassurance that his love and grace has nothing to do with me but everything to do with him. There is an abundance of Grace to declare that my works are nothing but filthy rags in the presence of The Holy One. There is grace to walk in ease, not struggle, the grace to ask and receive everything that Christ has promised those who love and diligently seek him. There is an abundance of Grace to come running into the arms of a loving father. To be still and know that he is working all things for my good. The grace to walk in the victory set before us by the blood of Jesus Christ.
There is an abundance of Grace to confront the deceitfulness of the human heart. To confront everything that is dominated by darkness declaring that the one who has called us out of darkness has delivered us. So much Grace to speak redemption despite the weakness of our mortal bodies. There is an abundance of Grace to come to the end of self and to let go of self will. There is so much grace to embrace and immense my entire being in you knowing that each moment I fall into you there is a forming of Christ in me. There is so much grace to declare boldly that Christ in me is indeed the hope of Glory.
There is an abundance of Grace to live a life of surrender in humility. To accept your never ending mercies through our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. There is an abundance of grace in every moment to receive your mercy, to love you, and to worship you with all our lives. There is abundance of Grace to live a life of obedience to the most High King, The one through whom all things were created. The anchor of my soul and my reason to rejoice. There is an abundance of Grace to live for you, through you and in you. What amazing Grace I’ve found in you.
